Assured - IT FAQ

An IT Managed Service Aligned With Your Success

Does the Assured-IT agent show up in the system tray on each computer?

Yes

Can a user exit or close the Assured-IT Client from the icon found in the system tray?

Our default does not allow the users to exit or turn the Assured-IT agent off. In extreme cases, we can enable this to happen.

Does the Assured-IT agent have auditing capabilities to show what was done and by whom?

Yes. It can tell you who attempted to access a given machine, when and what was done.

When a support person needs to gain remote access to a PC, does the Assured-IT agent require the end user to approve this access?

Our default configuration requires approval if there is someone logged onto the remote PC. They will be prompted to allow the access. If there is no one logged on to the PC and it is turned on, no approval is required. This can be changed to fit your company's individual requirements.

How much memory does the Assured-IT agent use?

The agent takes up 2.5MB of memory to run.
